Village Hall has moved to a new location (1 building west of  255 W. Dundee Road) and is now open for business.

The new address is 2 Community Boulevard, Wheeling, IL 60090. New Village Hall now houses the Departments of Community Development, Economic Development, Finance, Human Resources, IT, and the Fire Prevention Bureau.  Hours of Operation will remain the same - 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday, closed Saturday and Sunday and Holidays.

The Village of Wheeling has a dedicated professional staff who has kept Wheeling at the forefront of municipal enhancement and modernization into the 21st Century.  Each of the Departments has wonderful credentials in their respective fields, but here are a few accomplishments of which the Village is particularly proud.

Our Community Development Department is referred to as a leader in the state with regard to storm water management and flood insurance programming.  Also in that department the Village has an award winning Health Inspection program.  The Wheeling Police Department, aside from its role in crime prevention, has been a pioneer in the areas of seatbelt, child car seat, and bicycle safety.  The Fire Department has been part of cutting edge research in its work with the medical community, saving lives through early heart attack assessment/treatment by paramedics.
