Floodplain Map Determination

If you live within Wheeling Village Limits, the Engineering Division can tell you if your property is located within a designated special flood hazard area. To find out your floodplain status, please call the Community Development Engineering Division at
(847) 459-2620 between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Residents of the Village of Wheeling can request a written floodplain map determination to the Engineering Department by submitting the completed Application for Floodplain Map Determination along with all required documentation, and payment of the fee.
