Lawn Sprinkler Installation

Permission to Install a Lawn Sprinkler in a Public Street

1. All work shall be done by a licensed plumber. A copy of the Plumber's State of Illinois Department of Public Health license shall be on file in the Community Development Department before a permit is released.

2. The attached Permission to Install a Lawn Sprinkler form must be signed by the property owner and submitted with the plans and permit application before the permit will be issued.

3. Three (3) copies of prints (suitable for microfilming) must be submitted for review and acceptance.

4. The backflow device shall be a reduced pressure zone valve. The device shall be tested by a licensed backflow inspector, and (2) copies of the certification must be sent to the Community Development Department.

5. The lawn sprinkler system installer must notify the Community Development Department 24 hours prior to starting work to schedule an inspection. Call (847)-459-2620.

Residential lawn sprinkler $40.50

Commercial/Industrial lawn sprinkler $115.25
