Common Permits Required

THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF COMMONLY NEEDED BUILDING PERMITS WHICH ARE ISSUED BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT:

      House Addition or Remodeling 
     Shed 
     Garage (new or replacement
     Central Air Conditioner (new or replacement unit) 
     Water Heater Installation (new or replacement unit) 
     Furnace (new or replacement unit) 
     Wood Deck 
     Gazebo 
     Swimming Pool/Spa/Hot Tub 
     Fence/DogRun 
     Alarm System (Low Voltage Electrical permit needed) 
     Fireplace (Masonry, Prefab and Ventless)
     Screened Porch/3 Season Room/Porch Enclosures 
     Lawn Sprinkler System
     Electrical Work (call of permit is required) 
     Plumbing Work (call if permit is required)
     Roofing
     Siding
     Satellite Dish (Low Voltage Electric Permit is required)
     Window or Door Replacement (if opening size will change)
     Residential or Commercial Sewer and Water Repair
     Concrete Stoop (new or replacement)
     Sidewalks (stone/paver brick/concrete
     Patios (new or replacement)
     Driveways (concrete/pave brick/asphalt)
     Soil Boring/Monitoring Wells
     Site Alteration Permits
     Right-of-Way (Utility) Permits
     Floodplain Permits
