The Beginners Course: 

This 8 week course will provide you with the basic skills needed to advance into computer usage. We teach you how to ….. use the mouse and keyboard, how to open programs, starting and turning off your computer.

Introduction to Computers: 

Here, we give you a sampling of the many tasks a computer can do for you word processing, spread sheets, data bases and a brief introduction to the Internet and to the use of E-Mail.

Internet & E-Mail: 

By far our most exciting and fun course! The Internet is the greatest research tool the world has ever known! At the touch of a few mouse clicks you can do so many exciting things such as plan a trip, get driving directions, Shop, read newspapers, play a wide assortment of games, download photos and files. 8 week course we will also teach you how to create, edit and send emails as well as how to use Instant Messaging (if you do not know what that is ask your Grandchildren. Our very best course!

Microsoft Word: 

In this course we teach you how to create and edit a new document, change the way it looks, and add photos for such things as letters or email. mail merge for creating lists of labels and how to send letters to multiple recipients. It is also the primary word processing software that is used in most email programs. 4 week course that will make all of your future correspondence look as nice and as professional as you could wish.

Family Genealogy: 

This is a 4 week course that works with Family Tree Maker.  software will allow you to discover and share your family history which will preserve to find and add historical records, add photos, audio and video.  Family Tree Maker also integrates with websites for searching family history. You must be computer literate to successfully take this course.

Slide Presentation: 

This new 8 week course is being offered as there are new trends in email patterns. Many emails today are showing up with programs similar to power point that has embellished the email dramatically! We will use free software called Open Office that
will teach you how to put a slide show together with music and cool additions.
