High Schools
Wheeling’s secondary education students attend Township High School District 214’s Wheeling and Buffalo Grove High Schools. Both schools offer a full range of courses with emphasis on college preparatory curriculum and career studies. Each school has scored above the state average in ACT testing. Average 2002 ACT test scores for Wheeling and Buffalo Grove High Schools were 21.1 and 22.8 respectively. The state average is 19.9. Graduation rates are approximately 89 percent at these high schools.
